Welcome To

Wichita Falls Advertising Federation

Welcome to the new home page for AAF - Wichita Falls, the local chapter of the American Advertising Federation.

Feel free to browse around and see what membership in our club will bring you and your career. Our mission at AAF - Wichita Falls is to promote the value of advertising, to encourage ethical conduct and to create a place for free exchange of ideas encompassing all aspects of the advertising industry. Locally, we provide monthly lunch speakers on topics pertinent to events and advancements in our industry, to keep our members informed about what is going on at the District and National levels and to encourage our members to increase their knowledge and skills to further their careers.

Because the American Advertising Federation membership is made up of such a wide range of disciplines within the advertising industry it’s difficult to make every topic of direct pertinence to every member, I encourage you to attend the luncheons and conferences every time you can. You’ll almost always go home with some new nugget of information or a new way of looking at things that will make you better at what you do.

AAF - Wichita Falls also gives back to our community by supporting various local charities with fund raising events throughout the year. It was AAF - Wichita Falls that started the Hug A Bear program in Wichita Falls, a program that has been welcomed with open arms and open hearts by the Wichita Falls community. To learn more about Hug A Bear, just click on the icon.

On a District and National level, member ship in the American Advertising Federation gives you access to Summer and Winter Leadership Conferences, District Annual Conventions and National Annual Conventions, all of which provide a forum for some of the brightest minds in our industry to pass along what they’ve learned to fellow Ad Fed members. In addition to the official speakers at these functions, you’ll also meet plenty of other people in our broad industry and build lasting friendships. This comradery is something that the 10th District is well known for among the American Advertising Federation at large and one of the more enjoyable aspects of District events.

Whether you work in the advertising industry or utilize advertising to promote your business you’re welcome in the AAF - Wichita Falls. If you have any questions at all, feel free to click on the Contacts tab and get in touch with us.

The American Advertising Federation:

What’s In It For Me?

First, a brief history on the American Advertising Federation:

AAF - Wichita Falls is a part of the American Advertising Federation. We are in the 10th District, made up of clubs in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. The AAF is the only national grassroots trade association that encompasses all segments of the advertising industry: agencies, corporate marketing departments, broadcast and print media companies, industry suppliers, college chapters, national trade associations, even advertisers themselves all engaged in various advertising pursuits.

The local clubs sponsor a variety of programs, including meetings featuring industry-related speakers, professional development workshops, educational seminars, scholarships, public service initiatives, social events and local award competitions recognizing excellence in advertising.
