Mission of the
AAF - Wichita Falls
Promote good fellowship and a free exchange of ideas in order to provide and promote a better understanding of the functions of advertising and its value: to foster standards of ethical conduct and truth in advertising with all members individually or as a group, the communities and the businesses that we serve.
Goals of the
AAF - Wichita FallsThe Wichita Falls Chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) define the basic way in which this club should pursue its organizational mission, These goals describe the highest priorities of this club and AAF in terms of fulfilling members’ expectations for benefits within the context of a changing association environment.
Government Regulations: To monitor, interpret and influence federal/state legislation and regulations which directly affect the advertising process.
Professional Development: To enhance professional competency and career development tailored to the needs of the various membership segments.
Public Education: To promote awareness and understanding of the role and contributions of advertising to the economy and to society in general.
Advertising Education: To strengthen the role and work of the academic community by providing a liaison between advertising education and the profession, and by developing programs to assist advertising educators and students.
Advertising Standards: To foster high standards of ethical conduct, including truth in advertising.
Public Service: To encourage utilization of the communications skills of advertising for the public good by helping address social issues in our community.
Recognition of Excellence: To honor excellence in advertising and by its practitioners.
Organizational Effectiveness: To maintain an organizational structure addressing the expectations of all membership categories and reflects the highest level of volunteer support on behalf of our members and the advertising community.
